SCHOOL AGED CHILD CARE PROGRAM (SACC)

The School Aged Child Care Program is an after-school program for children ages 6-12. Hours are 3:00 to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Program Services Include:
Homework assistance
Prevention workshops
Dance classes
Daily snacks
Daily outside playtime
Arts & crafts
Optional summer camp

This program is licensed by the New York State Office of Children & Family Services.

Children’s academic progress is carefully monitored through report cards, progress reports, and homework assignments. Parent involvement is important and parents attend regular meetings were they receive input about their child’s progress.

To be eligible for this program, children need to have legal status in the U.S. and parents need to be working between the hours of 3 to 6 pm. To qualify to be subsidized by the Department of Social Services, families also need to meet income guidelines.
