THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROGRAM
The goal of the Program is to offer individuals an opportunity to change learned behaviors through education.
In addition, clients are educated on the legal implication of their behaviors as well as its effects on their significant others and family members. It allows clients to focus on taking responsibility for their own behavior and teaching them how they can take control of their actions.
The group meets once a week for an hour and a half.
Upon completion of the educational services, the clients are given information concerning counseling services available to them and their families when there is need for further help in learning how to stop the violence |
