On behalf of the Hispanic Counseling Center, the Board of Directors announce the retirement of our respected CEO Gladys Serrano LCSW after 40 years of service to HCC. Her retirement is effective June 30, 2021. We thank Gladys for her tenure as CEO and for her extraordinary service and dedication to build HCC into an organization with strong and stable revenues that is well-positioned for the future. We also thank Gladys for facilitating the change in leadership during the transition period. HCC is the successful agency it is today as a result of her leadership and we wish Gladys all the best for the next chapters in her life.
The Board of Directors is very pleased to congratulate Ms. Claudia Boyle LMHC on her appointment as our next CEO effective July 1, 2021. Ms. Boyle has broad and comprehensive experience as a clinician, supervisor, and administrator and has a deep history with the Hispanic Counseling Center. Ms. Boyle joined HCC in 2007 as a clinician providing individual, family, and group counseling, became Coordinator of the HCC Kinship Program in 2010, and in 2012 Ms. Boyle became the Youth and Family Coordinator, providing leadership for the HCC Teen Drop In Center and other programs for adolescents and their families. In 2015, Ms. Boyle assumed the role of HCC Associate Director, with responsibility to supervise coordinators of all HCC programs. We are confident that with her strong background and long history with the agency, Ms. Boyle will lead HCC to achieve further success in the future and we look forward to her new role as CEO.
