The Reason
To provide substance use prevention education to children and adolescents within the community on prevention methods to prevent an early onset of substance use.
The Solution
To prevent an early onset of substance use at an early/young age.
The Implementation
This program utilizes evidence based curriculums such as “Too Good for Drugs”, “Too Good for Drugs and Violence”, “Life Skills” and also non-evidence based curriculums such as “Tobacco Cessation” among others. All the curriculums are aimed at providing the youth with the education and tools necessary to avoid an early onset of substance use.
