The Reason

To provide assistance, treatment, to individuals and the families within the community for those who struggle with substance use or substance use related problems.

The Solution

To provide crisis and family intervention. Provide psycho-educational groups along with individual and group psychotherapy sessions.

The Implementation

Potential patients call and provide their information during the screening process. The program coordinator and team leader will determine if individual qualifies for the program.

These individuals are then called and given an intake appointment.

After the intake is completed, patient will be informed of the recommendation for treatment with the program and admitted into the program if patient consents to treatment.

Testimonial

“I do not have enough words to all the program staff, but just ‘appreciation’. It was very difficult at the beginning of the program because I did not want to be aware of my ‘problem’, and also because I was very ashamed about what other people would think about me. But I can say right now that entering this SUD program is one of the most beautiful things that has happened in my life. I just would like to say thank you to all the SUD staff.”
